Animal Beauty, an exhibition exploring the relationship between animals and artists, is now on view at the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais in Paris, France. The show features 160 works depicting animals and examines the attending aesthetic, philosophical and moral issues like only the French can. Included are sculpture, painting and photographs from the likes of Chagall, Dürer, Delacroix, Rembrandt, Warhol and a handful of classic works featuring dogs. The show runs until July 16, 2012.
