“One must know the animals” is a new exhibition at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, June 2–August 12, 2012. The show provides a platform to question our relationships with the animal kingdom.

On Thursday, June 21, 12:30–1:15 pm at MMoCA, join Bark contributor Patricia McConnell and curator Richard H. Axsom as they discuss the complicated and often contradictory relationship between people and animals.

“Snap!” by Warsaw-based artist Michael Torzecki from his monochromatic paintings series “Cats & Dogs.”  We’d like these even if Torzecki hadn’t contributed 20 percent of the income from his most recent show to an animal shelter.
